NOTICE BY PUBLICATION


THE STATE OF OKLAHOMA TO: The Unknown Successors of Leta Mae Padgett, Deceased.


YOU WILL TAKE NOTICE that you have been sued in the District Court of Dewey County, Oklahoma, by the above-named Plaintiff, who in his Petition filed in the above case allege that he is the owner in fee simple of the following-described real property, said property being situated in Dewey County, Oklahoma, and described as follows, to-wit:


An undivided 1/2 interest in and to the oil, gas, and other minerals, and other mineral rights in and under and that may be produced from the West Half of the Southeast Quarter (W/2 SE/4), the Southwest Quarter of the Northeast Quarter (SW/4 NE/4), and the Southeast Quarter of the Northwest Quarter (SE/4 NW/4) of Section Twenty-three (23), Township Nineteen (19) North, Range Twenty (20) W.I.M., Dewey County, Oklahoma;


and that the Unknown Successors of Leta Mae Padgett, Deceased, may claim some interest in or claim upon said real estate adverse to Plaintiff which in fact they do not possess; the object and prayer of Plaintiff’s Petition being to have the Court distribute the above-described property to Plaintiff, free and clear of any and all right, title, claim or interest that the Unknown Successors of Leta Mae Padgett, Deceased, may assert, to quiet and confirm Plaintiff’s title as against the Unknown Successors of Leta Mae Padgett, Deceased, as described in the Petition, as to all of the described property, and for such other and further relief as the Court deems just and equitable in the premises.

 

YOU ARE FURTHER NOTIFIED that you must answer the Plaintiff’s Petition filed in said cause on or before the 13th day of May, 2026, or said Petition will be taken as true and a Decree quieting Plaintiff’s title to the above-described property will be entered forever barring the Unknown Successors of Leta Mae Padgett, Deceased, from asserting any interest in or to the property.
