NOTICE BY PUBLICATION

THE STATE OF OKLAHOMA TO: The Unknown Successors of Vernon E. McDaniel, Deceased.

YOU WILL TAKE NOTICE that you have been sued in the District Court of Dewey County, Oklahoma, by the above-named Plaintiff, who in its Petition filed on June 5th, 2026, in the above case alleges that as of the date of the death of Vernon E. McDaniel, Deceased, on or about July 25, 1953, the following-described real property, was vested in Enid May McDaniel, a/k/a Enid Lee, Mary Sunshine Cogman, and Max Price McDaniel, as further alleged in said Petition, said property being situated in Dewey County, Oklahoma, and described as follows, to-wit:

An undivided 3/16 interest in and to the oil, gas, and other minerals, and other mineral rights in and under and that may be produced from the Southeast Quarter (SE/4) of Section Thirty-four (34), Township Nineteen (19) North, Range Twenty (20) W.I.M., Dewey County, Oklahoma; 

and that the Unknown Successors of Vernon E. McDaniel, Deceased, may claim some interest in or claim upon said real estate adverse to the heirs-at-law and successors-in-interest of Vernon E. McDaniel, Deceased, which in fact they do not possess; the object and prayer of Plaintiff’s Petition being to have the Court determine that as of the date of Vernon E. McDaniel’s death, that the above-described property was vested in Enid May McDaniel, a/k/a Enid Lee, Mary Sunshine Cogman, and Max Price McDaniel, as further described in the Petition, free and clear of any and all right, title, claim or interest that the Unknown Successors of Vernon E. McDaniel, Deceased, may assert, to quiet and confirm title as against the Unknown Successors of Vernon E. McDaniel, Deceased, as described in the Petition, as to all of the described property, and for such other and further relief as the Court deems just and equitable in the premises.

YOU ARE FURTHER NOTIFIED that you must answer the Plaintiff’s Petition filed in said cause on or before the 22nd day of July, 2026, or said Petition will be taken as true and a Decree judicially determining the death and the heirs-at-law, devisees, legatees and assigns of Vernon E. McDaniel, Deceased, and forever barring the Unknown Successors of Vernon E. McDaniel, Deceased, from asserting any interest in or to the property.
