ORDINANCE NO. 2026-7

AN ORDINANCE OF THE TOWN OF CAMARGO, OKLAHOMA, REPEALING ORDINANCE NO. 2026-2, ADOPTED ON NOVEMBER 25, 2025; RATIFYING CERTAIN PRIOR ACTIONS; PROVIDING FOR SEVERABILITY; AND DECLARING AN EFFECTIVE DATE.

WHEREAS, the Town of Camargo previously adopted Ordinance No. 2026-2 on November 25, 2025 (the “Prior Ordinance”); and

WHEREAS, to address clerical errors in the Resolution in support of the Prior Ordinance, the Board of Trustees has determined that the Prior Ordinance should be repealed in its entirety; and 

WHEREAS, the Board of Trustees desires to ensure clarity in the official records of the municipality and to eliminate any potential conflict with subsequent municipal actions;

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE TOWN OF CAMARGO, OKLAHOMA:

SECTION 1. REPEAL.

Ordinance No. 2026-2, adopted on November 25, 2025, is hereby repealed in its entirety and shall have no further force or effect.

SECTION 2. RATIFICATION.

All actions previously taken in reliance upon the Prior Ordinance, to the extent not inconsistent with this Ordinance, are hereby ratified and approved.

SECTION 3. SEVERABILITY.

If any section, subsection, sentence, clause, or phrase of this Ordinance is held invalid, such decision shall not affect the validity of the remaining portions.

SECTION 5. EMERGENCY.

It being immediately necessary for the preservation of the peace, health, safety and public good of the Town of Camargo and the inhabitants thereof that the provisions of this Ordinance be put into full force and effect and this Ordinance shall take effect and be in full force and effect after its passage, as provided by law.
